What Is the National Rescue Ride?

The National Rescue Ride is a day where all horse lovers across the country will join in a  Rideathon/Walkathon in their own area. The purpose is to raise funds for the charity the rider/walker chooses to support by asking friends and family to sponsor in dollar amounts.  Funds raised will help them provide for abused, neglected and unwanted horses. Because it is the same day for all charities participating nationwide, it will help make a point  to help end horse abuse and neglect, and bring awareness to the unwanted horse issue. Today, with slaughterhouses closing, horses are now shipped across the borders for slaughter, a situation which is far worse than before. There are incentive prizes for the nation’s biggest fund raising riders/walkers! Join us, make a difference.

How it Works:

Each individual charity is setting up their own ride in their own area. You can search this website and find a charity running a ride in your area.and register online. If the charity want support is not having a ride in your area but is registered, you may share the proceeds equally between a charity having a ride in your area and the one you want to support. On the registration page there is a button to add the charity you support but register with the charity where you will attend the ride.

When you register online and pay a $20. fee you will:

We will do our best to get your NRR T-Shirt to you in time for Oct. 19th but we are getting close and cannot guarantee it.
